The Challenge

Building SOOR exchange required solving a set of interconnected challenges that had no precedent in existing crypto platforms. The Suffescom team had to reconcile the decentralized, fast moving world of blockchain technology with the strict, centuries old principles of Islamic jurisprudence.

No Existing Blueprint

There was no proven framework for building a fully Shari’ah-compliant crypto exchange. Most existing platforms relied on interest-based financial models or unsupported token listings, requiring SOOR to establish an entirely new category and operational standard.
Shari’ah Compliance Infrastructure

Compliance could not remain a surface-level feature, it had to be deeply integrated into the platform architecture. This included removing interest-based mechanisms, enabling scholar-approved token listings, and maintaining auditable certification-ready transaction records.
Security & Trust In Market

Muslim investors place exceptional importance on transparency, accountability, and operational trust. The platform needed to deliver enterprise-grade security, verifiable processes, and ethical safeguards aligned with Islamic principles of Amanah, fairness, and financial responsibility.
