About the Client
The client envisioned Naritya as a modern social video platform where creators could record and share short-form videos, stream live, engage with followers in real time, and monetize their content through subscriptions, virtual coins, and referral rewards. The goal was to deliver a seamless experience across both Android and iOS.
Beyond the mobile application, the platform required a scalable cloud-native backend capable of supporting thousands of concurrent users, secure payment processing, low-latency live streaming, real-time messaging, and an efficient moderation system to maintain content quality and community safety.

The Challenge
The platform needed to deliver live video with less than two seconds of latency while supporting hundreds of simultaneous broadcasts. Achieving a smooth viewing experience across different network conditions required a scalable streaming infrastructure with automatic failover.
Users uploaded videos ranging from 10–100MB that had to be transcoded into multiple resolutions before delivery. The processing pipeline needed to minimize upload delays while optimizing playback for every device and network speed.
Live comments, one-to-one messaging, and engagement features required message delivery in under 50 milliseconds. The system also needed to scale seamlessly across multiple application servers without losing active WebSocket connections.
The virtual coin economy demanded secure payment processing, real-time wallet updates, and fully atomic transactions. Every purchase, tip, and payout had to remain accurate while preventing duplicate payments and fraud.
